Fleek Gallery, in association with The Carlton Hotel, Ilfracombe, will be holding an Art Auction and Dinner event on Saturday, 30th April 2022. Tickets are £30 per head.
This inaugural evening event brings together two successful local businesses in a celebration of all things Ilfracombe – great art and food.
The informal evening kicks off with a private viewing of the art from 6pm, with complimentary bubbly (or soft drink). A four-course meal, featuring locally sourced ingredients, with venison and Lundy plaice amongst the offering, is followed by the live auction. Diners can bid from the comfort of their table for a range of eclectic, affordable and fantastic contemporary art from Fleek Gallery. Everything sold under the hammer of the auctioneer, Robert Barber, will raise a 10% donation to The Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
Dan Martin, Fleek Gallery's Director, said: “The evening is going to be a lot of fun and there is of course no obligation to bid. All are welcome to come and enjoy great food, company and a superb atmosphere and amazing service provided by the Carlton Hotel. For those lucky people who make a winning bid and the opportunity of owning a great original work of art, they will also be contributing a donation of 10% of the proceeds to The Devon Air Ambulance Trust so it’s a win-win for all!”
