North Devon is the perfect destination for foodies. The area has such a wide range of eateries, from Michelin-starred restaurants to beach cafes to family-friendly pubs, all of which boast delicious menus which have our mouths watering. This is the very reason why we’ve created the North Devon Food Trail App – to give you a one-stop guide of the best places to eat in North Devon.
But how exactly can you use our App and make use of all its amazing features? Keep reading to find out.
Have you ever been in an area, tummy rumbling and not sure where’s best for a bite to eat? We have, and that’s why our App features the Find Incredible Edibles tool. Simply pop in your location, the type of establishment you’d like to visit, select a radius and the App will give you a list of the best eateries near you.
Don’t worry if you have dietary requirements or special requests, you can refine your search further with a range of options including ‘Gluten Free’, ‘Dog Friendly’ and ‘WiFi’.
Our incredible food trails are where our App gets its name from. Whether you’re a seafood lover, looking for romance or want some family fun – we have a trail that will suit you. The trails showcase some of the best food and drink in the area, all within a small geographical area, so they’re perfect for a day out.
We’ve featured the Spring Trail above, which centres around the Hartland Peninsula, but you can see the full range or of course on the App itself.
If you fancy cooking up your own meal – our App also has you covered there. On the Local Producers page you’ll discover a list of the area’s best food producers. From artisan gins, to locally sourced seafood and fresh vegetables, if you’re wanting to put on a true North Devon feast, it’s the perfect place to head for inspiration.
If you’re the type of person who likes to plan your foodie adventures before venturing out, the App’s Favourite Finds tool will certainly be useful. Use this tool to save any eateries that take your fancy before heading out – it’s like a wishlist for foodies!
There’s always exciting events taking place in North Devon – that’s why our App just had to feature a list of the area’s best food events and farmers’ markets.
Select ‘Unmissable Events’ on the app and it’ll give you the lowdown on what events are taking place, when they’re taking place and what you can expect if you attend.
