The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway at Woody Bay Station, plus other parts of the region will feature on Channel 5 on Friday, 27th November as part of a new series of Walking Britain’s Lost Railways, presented by Rob Bell.
North Devon features prominently in the first episode of the new series with Rob discovering the now abandoned railway lines in the region. He follows a route that last ran in 1935 as well as visiting Woody Bay Station and spending time in Lynton learning about the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway.
Walking Britain’s Lost Railways is on Channel 5 at 8pm on Friday, 27th November.
