Passionate about making great food, the team at Block are all about serving interesting plates inspired by cuisines from around the world. Incorporating vegan dishes into their ever evolving menu is one of their many skills. Enjoy amazing breakfast and lunch dishes that will be hard to find anywhere else locally, such as a vegan katsu curry or phở chay.
Tucked slightly out of the way on Church Lane is LunchBox. Serving up wholesome and healthy dishes influenced by tastes from across the globe. Offering both an eat in or takeaway option you can always rely on them to have a plethora of different and delicious vegan options for you to try including curries, stews and salads.
Championing local produce, the team at Wild Thyme Cafe always endeavour to serve great food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere - they even grow some of their ingredients in their own garden! Amongst their standard dishes you can find some of their vegan gems like the spiced coconut dahl and ethiopian stew as well as an amazing smoothie and juice selection.
Lying between Barnstaple and Bideford, with stunning views across the estuary, The Boathouse is a great place to stop and enjoy a bite to eat at any time of day. With vegan options on both their brunch and main menu, you can always find something to enjoy - the linguine sounds outstanding!
Amongst this vegetarian cafés menu, you’ll find a wonderful selection of vegan dishes to sink your teeth into. With the usual café delights, such as sandwiches, cakes, paninis etc, you can also find vegan dishes on their evening menus and bistro nights - giving them a little bit of notice will mean they’ll provide you with even more choice too! As they say, it’s not all brown rice and lentils…
Also situated in Ilfracombe high street, Blue Lotus Cafe hosts a range of vegan options amongst their delicious menu which also includes wood-fired pizzas. Vegan cakes are also available which makes for the perfect sweet treat in Veganuary. They also have a huge focus on a friendly and welcoming atmosphere which makes the perfect dining experience.
