Visit Devon’s Director, Sally Everton, has been busy driving promotion internationally and encouraging visitors to come to Devon.
In July Sally has been working on the following:
DOMESTIC
- Various meetings throughout the month with various members and potential new members about the VisitDevon benefits and being involved
- Experience England - Sanu Group.
- Follow up on The Meeting Show and input data base from various meetings
- Marketing meeting for VisitDevon working with various partners
- Meeting with key tourism partners with announcement of Tourism Sector Deal and ways forward
- Various contact meetings with regards to the Tourism Sector Deal
- DATA catch up
- VisitDevon board meeting at Highbullen
- Guardian and Coast Magazine re pieces on Salcombe and Woolacombe

INTERNATIONAL
- 5 day itinerary for Kuoni for a series running from May to November 2020. 25 people Asia
- FAM trip for Kuoni contact based in London for 3 days- covering South Devon, Dartmoor and North Devon.
- Promotional film for VisitEngland to be used across the globe on Devon and Cornwall activities
- Submit Devon stories to VisitBritain for media pitches for 2019/2020
- TXGB - chat to VisitBritain and will look at this. Another avenue to promote with 2.5% on all bookings. To share with our members
- Look at ETOA opportunities for 2020. Share with our members.
DEF PROJECT
- Continue to work with the tour operators /agents and DMC's to get our product onto their selling platforms for late 2019 and 2020
