Workshops for coastal businesses looking for more out of season visitors!
8th June 2018
England's Coast is an exciting new marketing and booking tool delivered by the National Coastal Tourism Academy. It’s designed to increase the number of international visitors to the English coast and is aimed specifically at German, Dutch and French visitors.
Its new interactive video technology allows holidaymakers to create their own itineraries and book direct with coastal businesses via an itinerary builder, but the scope of the project also targets the travel trade through independent and group itineraries. You can visit the website here.
We already have listed over 700 coastal businesses – hotels, B&Bs, pubs, attraction providers and much more - giving holidaymakers and the travel trade huge choice for creating imaginative coastal escapes, especially out of the peak holiday season. We are running a series of workshops for businesses, which you can book below:
Torquay – Living Seas Centre – Thursday 21st June
Morning Workshop 10:30| Afternoon Workshop 14:00.
Kingsbridge –Thurlestone Hotel – Tuesday 26th June
The workshops are to inform businesses about why and how we are working with international visitors, how englandscoast.com [1] works and why it could be to their advantage to work with the travel trade. They are relevant for accommodation providers and restaurants within 5 miles of the coast and attractions up to 15 miles from the coast. There are two on 21st June in Torquay and one on 26th June.
The workshops are free, please click the link to register your place.
