Have your say on the Consumer Contracts Review
21st March 2019
Following the review of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Government will be publishing a report to review the contents. A consultation is now open regarding this.
This Call for Evidence is designed to gather information that will inform the review and provide insight on how the legislation is working. The regulations implement most of the provisions of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, this is subject to EU maximum harmonisation rule which means that Member States must not go beyond or below the provisions as set out in the directive.
The consultation does not include proposals for changing the regulations.
