
Matthew Broadhead : A SPACE FOR HUMANS: THE MOON ON EARTH
About
This exhibition is the culmination of a multi-year project exploring the heritage of US astronaut training in Iceland. In his first solo exhibition in the UK Matthew will be showing 25 artworks that have been inspired by this project and the landscape of Iceland.Matthew was raised in North Devon and after studying at Petroc went on to graduate with a First Class Honours degree in Photography from the University of Brighton. He recently completed his MA in Photography at the University of the West of England, based in Bristol. Whilst still a young practitioner, Matthew has already been widely published and shortlisted for a number of awards and was the winner of the inaugural Photoworks Prize, the Magnum Photos Graduate Photographer prize and the De Donkere Kamer #31 prize.
