Natural Cordage Workshop
About
Learn the ancient craft of natural cordage, using dried dandelion stems, to create your own bracelet or garland to take home with you!
In this workshop you will learn the techniques of making natural cordage, using dried dandelion stems, to weave into twine for creating bracelets or garlands. We love dandelions at Quince Honey Farm because they are an important food source for our bees but they have many other uses too; all parts are edible, they have medicinal properties, and the stems can be used for crafting! We will only be using up the spent stems so that the bees and other pollinators have had time to gather all the nectar and the seeds have spread for next year.
This is a perfect workshop for anyone who loves arts and crafts. Come along for a very crafty morning, learn an ancient skill, and create a unique homemade gift for you or someone else!
Guide Prices
