Willow Weaving Workshop
About
Join us for a few creative hours and get hands on with the rural craft of willow weaving by making a willow birdhouse feeder to take home with you!
In this three hour workshop you will learn the basic skills and techniques of working with willow to create a wonderful willow birdhouse feeder which can be hung in your garden.
Willow weaving uses natural and environmentally-friendly materials, and in this workshop we will use willow harvested from the Quince Honey Farm estate itself.
Places are limited to a maximum of 15 participants, so booking is essential.
Date: Wednesday 30th November, 10am – 1pm
Key information:
- Workshop is suitable for complete beginners, no experience necessary
- Suitable for ages 16+
- The workshop will be held outside so please wear weather-appropriate clothing
- All materials and tools will be provided
- One hot drink (tea or filter coffee) or one cold drink (non-alcoholic) included in price
