Tractor & Trailer Rides
About
A visit to Mortehoe is not complete without taking a tractor and trailer ride with Mortehoe Museum or National Trust. With two different trips to choose from, this is the easiest way to enjoy the rugged and dramatic coastline around Mortehoe as well as hopefully enjoying some unique wildlife encounters.Admire the skills of National Trust staff as they take you down past the church to Morte Point. With tales of the notorious smugglers and wreckers, the role of Morte Point in World War II, and a stop to see the local residents – Atlantic seals – you will get a great understanding of how National Trust now looks after and cares for this landscape for the benefit of the local wildlife.Taking a tractor and trailer ride is great for people of all ages and abilities. Fantastic for families with young children, or if you are less able or a wheelchair user, it's a great way to get out into the countryside with minimal effort. First ride 10.30, then every 45 minutes until 2.45pm.
