As part of their new Stepping Out Festival, local theatre company Red Herring Productions are bringing their internationally renowned show 'The Whistlers' to North Devon.
Watch out for the Whistler Conservation Society in and around the area and book your tickets to see the shows at the National Trusts, Brownsham Woods near Hartland.
Whistlers are a curious tribe of people who come from the forests of Eastern Europe, they live with birds and communicate by whistling. They are on the move across Europe and, incredibly, have appeared in near you! Luckily the Whistler Conservation Society have parachuted in to protect and care for them. Why not join the WCS and go Whistler Spotting? You may meet one and who knows what will happen!
