About
Scarecrow Making Workshop
Date: Monday 24th October 2022
Time: 10:00 – 12:00
Cost: £10 per child
This October half term let your little ones get creative and build their very own scarecrow for displaying across Quince Honey Farm!
Scarecrows have been around longer than you might think – the first scarecrows known to history were made about 3,000 years ago! Possibly the most famous scarecrow is the fictional character in 'The Wizard of Oz' who helps Dorothy journey to the Emerald City, closely followed by Worzel Gummidge! Will your child create a happy, friendly scarecrow like these … or perhaps something spookier? Let's find out and let their creativity run wild! The workshop will end with a delicious Halloween hot chocolate as a reward for all the hard work. A prize for the best scarecrow is up for grabs too!
