Music on the Bandstand

Bands on The Bandstand (July & August)  Every summer Ilfracombe presents a series of Sunday afternoon performances on The Bandstand in Runnymede Gardens on The Seafront. Performances are from 2pm to 4pm. There is some seating although some prefer to sit on the grass. These performances are sponsored by local businesses and organisations and are therefore totally free (although you may find someone rattling a tin).

Bands range from Jazz to brass and youth bands including Ilfracombe's own District Youth Band - Blazing Sounds. Blazing Sounds also plays on the bandstand on Thursday evenings, alternate weeks from the beginning of June, and then every week during the school summer holidays.
