
Live Painting Workshops with Jake Slee
About
As part of Art Trek Open Studios, Jake Slee will be exhibiting his work in the gardens at Broomhill between 14 - 30 September. On selected dates, listed above, Jake will be at the gardens offering visitors the opportunity to join in with a live painting project.
Jake studied Fine Art at Kingston University London. The themes within his work are consumerism, political discourse, social media and nature working primarily with ceramic tiles.
Influences include: Vladislav Surkov, Fox News, Yotam Ottolenghi, Fauvism, Mark Zuckerberg, Valley of the Rocks, Katherine Bernhardt, Gavin Williamson, Acid House, my dog, Walter Gropius, Lidl, cryptocurrency, The Guardian, Syria, Nigel Slater, trees, Christmas, the EU data protection directive, Jean Michel Basquiat, La Liga, Shirwell primary school, nike trainers, Frasier, petrol station flowers.
