About
An inspirational 3 day workshop is based in an idyllic location overlooking Exmoor at Moor and Sea holidays.
Samantha Buckley, as specialist in Indian miniature painting will introduce students to this beautiful technique. The first step is preparing the paper, staining and burnishing, next is the introduction to the pigments used, how to prepare the Indian palette and paint with them using the traditional technique of colour flooding. The final stage is to create the fine detail, an integral part of this style for this students will use the technique known as Pretaj or invisible shading. Using these traditional materials and techniques students will create their very own unique bird painting.
