IDTA Winter Series of Fundraising Quizzes

Every winter the Ilfracombe and District Tourism Association (IDTA) run a series of six fund raising quizzes. All are welcome to put a team together and play either for fun or to compete for the series trophy - you don't have to be an IDTA member to join in. Teams entering to win the series must use the same name throughout.

We recommend booking a table in advance as space is limited. However if you do book a table then find you can't attend please also call to cancel or you will be blocking a table someone else can use.

Teams are 2 to 6 people (if there is a draw at the end then the smaller team win or there is a tie break). Cost is £2.50 per player and all of this money goes to the fund. Quiz winners get a round of drinks. Overall series winners get a trophy and some goodies (and drinks).

The quizzes are held at The George & Dragon pub at the bottom of Fore Street. Phone 01271 863851. Quizmaster Quinn presiding.

On the 16th October, 13th November, 4th December, 15th January, 12th February & 12th March, quizzes all start at 8.30pm - be there from 8.15 to get set up.

The 2017/18 series raised over £1400 for these good causes. Let's see if we can do even better this coming year.

Ilfracombe in Bloom are a group of volunteers who work to produce the beautiful floral displays seen around the town and who work with other community groups to create public gardens and open spaces.

Events 4 Ilfracombe are a group of volunteers who put on events in the town during the year including the 'house' event 'All Things Morris' and also provide support to other groups who put on Ilfracombe events.
