Daffodils and Spring Flowers
About
We hope to welcome everyone back to Hartland Abbey this year for Daffodil Day after an absence of 3 years. It is a wonderful chance to get out with your family, friends and dogs to see our large collection of historic daffodils at a reduced entry fee. Children will enjoy exploring the winding paths and seeing the locations for Enid Blyton's 'Malory Towers' filmed recently.See daffodils, camellias, hellebores, early spring bulbs and shrubs, wild primroses and violets. Included in your ticket is entry to our Film Exhibition, historic photographs, the museum and shop. Enjoy walking woodland paths through wild flowers to the Walled Gardens, Gazebo and the restored Woodland Summerhouse with its welcoming log fire. The Abbey itself will be open between 1 –4 pm at a small extra charge. Dogs are really welcome on leads but there will be plenty of space to let them run free as well. The Orchard, normally closed, will be open with its beautiful wild daffodils.
The Old Kitchen Tea Rooms will be open serving a variety of homemade hot and cold food and delicious cream teas and their legendary scrumptious cakes!
Visitors are advised to bring wellies.
