Can you Beat the Fox? Blast off the festive excess with our 5k Fun Run, back for its 5th year this Boxing Day!Boxing Day could be a great opportunity to shed a few pounds after this year's Christmas dinner and other festivities as Fremington Trailblazers Running Club hosts its annual Beat the Fox fun run again.
Starting at 10.30am from The Fox public house in Fremington, this beautiful multi-terrain circumnavigates and sees runners in fancy dress (optional but highly recommended!) attempting to cross the finish line before 'the fox' who set off two minutes after everyone else.
Prizes and spot prizes will be given. Children 14 & under must run as a team with an adult as a team - to qualify for a prize and a time, they must cross the finish line together.
There's a nip of Port for all finishers (water first if needed!) and sweets for the children. Hot drinks and bacon rolls will be available and the bar at the Fox will be open from 11:00.
This fantastic fundraising event is supporting members of the Fremington Trailblazers competing in the Virgin London Marathon in 2019. All profits will be split between their charities: ChemoHero, Whizz Kidz, Tuberous Sclerosis Association and Mind.

Guide Prices
In advance - £7.00 adults; £10 team (1 adult + 1 child).
Additional child - £3 but they must run with an adult.
On the day - £8.00 adults; £12 team (1 adult + 1 child).
Additional child - £4 but they must run with an adult.
Members of the ARC/UKA are eligible for £2 discount - your affiliation number is required at registration.
