Archery Day

At Bulworthy Project we like to create a relaxed atmosphere in which to learn.
You will leave having not only learned a new skill but also inspired and invigorated after
a great time in the woods.
This experience is taught by Luke Messinger of the North Devon Archery Academy
At the beginning of the day, Luke will take you through the theory behind archery and basic archery techniques. From there on he will build up the complexity until you are exploring the woods on a field archery course that has been especially set up for the day. Each target on the course will be placed to ensure that it takes all of the skills you have learnt over the day to achieve success. You are welcome to bring along your own bow if you have one, but you will also have the opportunity to try out a variety of different bows including horse bows, recurve bows and modern compound bows. Luke's experience and enthusiasm will ensure that you have a safe, informative and enjoyable experience.
The archery day is fully catered for by the Bulworthy Project Barbecue Cafe. As well as a delicious lunch, hot drinks and cake or biscuits are provided throughout the day.
