Alex Woods at North Devon Jazz Club
About
Multi-award winning alto saxophonist Alex Woods will bring his quartet to North Devon Jazz Club at The Beaver, Appledore on 3rd December. Starting the saxophone at the age of nine Alex perfected his style and playing during a period of performing with jazz musicians in New York and at this gig he will be playing numbers from his recent album Highline which was recorded with some of those musicians.
Alex has also collaborated with Jamie Cullum and Charlotte Church and toured extensively in Europe and further afield. He is also a talented composer and has written pieces for big band, string quartet and harp.
