Savour local flavours
Our menus shine the spotlight on the abundant, flavour-filled produce that comes straight from our fruit and vegetable gardens to our kitchen. When we can’t grow it ourselves, we seek out the best local food and drink producers and showcase their talents. Join us for a delicious lunch or enjoy a Devon cream tea with beautiful garden views.
The Garden Restaurant offers a relaxed dining atmosphere with beautiful garden views. Whether you fancy coffee and cake, a leisurely lunch or an indulgent afternoon tea, there are plenty of tasty options to choose from.
Rosemoor’s team create dishes that shine the spotlight on the abundant, flavour filled produce that comes straight from the gardens to the kitchen. When they can’t grow it themselves, they seek out the best local food and drink producers to showcase their talents.
Their menus are seasonal and sustainable, delicious and inspiring and change frequently because they use ingredients that are in peak condition and ready for harvest.
A choice of three lunch dishes is on offer daily, always with a vegetation option, ranging from roasted hasselback butternut squash baked in smoked cheddar sauce and topped with crispy onions, to confit of duck with garden damson jus, all served with seasonal vegetables. You can then chose from two delicious desserts such as garden heritage apple panna cotta with caramelised apples and a Viennese biscuit or a dark chocolate torte, cherry coulis, Amaretti crumb and clotted cream.
There is also a plethora of tempting hot and cold snacks and bakes (with gluten free choices) available throughout the day together with barista coffee, speciality teas, wine and local cider. With advance notice, all allergens can be catered for.
No admission fee is required to visit the Restaurant or Garden Centre and there is ample free parking, making The Garden Restaurant an excellent meet up venue.
RHS Garden Rosemoor also has seven romantic venues set within its famous gardens, each licensed to hold wedding ceremonies. All have their own unique charm, and some are the closest you can get to being married outdoors in this country – for further information please visit https://www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/rosemoor/venue-hire/weddings
