Moorview House B&B is a completely refurbished former farm house situated within the North Devon Biosphere. Ideally situated on a 1-acre plot with far reaching views over open countryside. Guests are free to roam in the paddock and relax in the small copse to listen to the array of birdsong and experience the peace and tranquility. Our rooms are designed for privacy, we do not have a resident’s lounge or dining room. Your breakfast is delivered to your room to enjoy at your leisure.
Situated in a semi-rural location, yet only 10 minutes drive to stunning beaches and the ancient towns of Bideford and Great Torrington. The South West Coast path and Tarka Trail is close by plus both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, with their unique charm and character are waiting to be explored and are also within easy reach.

Directions. We suggest you do not follow your sat nav unless you are a fan of very narrow windy lanes!
From Barnstaple (approx. 11 miles) follow the A39 towards Bideford. Just before you get to the bridge which goes over the River Torridge (turn right towards Instow/ East The Water (A386). At the roundabout take the first Exit. A short way along this road turn left into Manteo Way (signposted Alverdiscott Road and Gammaton). Follow the road, past Tescos until you reach a roundabout go straight over the roundabout and then turn left into Gammaton Road (opposite Bideford Autos). Follow the lane for about 2 miles until you come to a cross roads with the listed finger signpost on your right. Moorview House B&B will be found on the left hand side on the crossroads. Proceed past the house and cottage and take the first left into the carpark area.
From Bideford (approx 3 miles) take the old bridge across the river to East The Water. At the roundabout turn left and follow the road for about half a mile. Just after Tamar Trading turn right into Manteo way (signposted Alverdiscott Road and Gammaton) and follow the directions above.
