The site consists of 23 grass pitches with 16amp electric points, 8 of which are level and the other 15 part level but do not require much work to get level, plus an area for tents. There is an indoor games room and a swing frame for younger children. The new ablution block includes 6 showers, a room with facilities for the disabled, including a concrete ramp, laundry and wash up facilities. The ablution block is near the 8 level pitches.
Barnstaple town, which is 2 miles from the campsite, has a historic pannier market, a leisure centre and an indoor tennis centre – Tarka Tennis. The tarka cycle way can be joined at Barnstaple. There are many lovely beaches in the area, the nearest being approx. 7 miles from the campsite.
We are just 3 miles from a 9 to 18 hole golf course and 1 mile away is a fly fishing and trout farm where you can catch your supper for a barbecue in the evening. Exmoor National Park with its stunning scenery is very close by.
