Ideally situated for cycling the Tarka Trail, the beautiful village of Clovelly and the seaside resort of Westward Ho!, the glorious gardens of the RHS at Rosemoor, the Dartington Crystal Factory and visitors centre, Great Torrington has a delightful Victorian Pannier Market, award winning shops, pubs and cafes will all tempt you back.

From M5 southbound:
Leave at junction 27 (Tiverton) and follow A 361 towards Barnstaple. At South Molton turn left along the B3227 for Great Torrington.
On the approach to Great Torrington, turn left down Borough Road immediately before the zebra crossing by the brown caravan site sign and follow this road, turning left before the school down Caddywell Lane. We are about 1/2 mile down this lane on the right-hand side.
From Exeter:
Take the A377 towards Crediton and Barnstaple, at Umberleigh turn left along the B3227 for Great Torrington.
